First Lady

First Lady is a pure Afghani seed-strain offering the uniformity and rich flavour of old-time cultivars backed up with the vigour and punch of modern hybrid cannabis. This strain's direct ancestors originate in Afghanistan and Pakistan, in the high-altitude passes and lower steppes of the Hindu Kush, between Chitral and Kandahar. The prized Cannabis Afghanica strains of these neighbouring regions share very similar genotypes and strong Indica growth patterns, having been selected over years or centuries to enhance the qualities prized in traditional hashish production - resin content, stocky growth and quick, heavy flowering. First Lady is thus more like an extended back-crossing than a hybrid, because she reunites fundamentally similar gene-pools separated by time and geography.
As a result, First Lady seedlings are consistent, uniform and bursting with life. Phenotype variation is subtle, and is mostly seen in the formation of leaf-blades and calyxes. This distinguished Lady is fast and powerful with trouble-free growth and flowering. She will reward even novice indoor growers with bountiful bunches of buds when given the basic essentials of growing - healthy soil, good lighting and ventilation. More experienced growers can easily bring out the best in First Lady with any system or method they choose.

Four Way

This strain is an early success from programs to create stable, multiple-hybrid cannabis. Starting in the Eighties, intensive breeding projects worked with highly varied and complex gene pools which ‘stacked’ desirable features from a wide range of parents and ancestors to produce hybrids which could consistently express those traits in interesting combinations.
Generation after generation of excellent genotypes were cross-bred, with all seed-offspring closely observed and compared to identify the best individuals. In each generation, selected plants were either back-crossed with parents to stabilise desired traits or introduced to the next ganja genotype in the group. Some breeding experiments continued for years, ultimately involving the cataloguing of staggering numbers of seedlings solely for selection and testing purposes. Some of Sensi Seeds’ top hybrids have their roots in breeding projects of this scale. Many unique flavours, formations and effects introduced by Sensi strains were only possible through the sheer variety of genotypes we were able to combine, plus the dedication, detailed records and keen senses of the breeders responsible for selection.
Four Way is featured in some of the earliest seed-catalogues — a multiple Indica hybrid created from exceptional Indian, Afghani and Pakistani cultivars, all backed up with the vigour and high-octane punch of Skunk #1. After some additional refinement to accentuate her best qualities. As an early multiple hybrid, growers should expect a fair amount of variation when growing. All phenotypes tend to be fast flowering, resinous and sweet, with some outstanding sets of features regularly showing themselves — extra-fat calyxes, exceptional flavours and aromas, explosive bud growth. Four Way gives consistent, reliable Indica quality in a variety of forms, including occasional surprises in the form of fluke combinations of traits that make for unique, super potent or high-yielding mother plants.

Fruity Juice

As definitive examples of the Sativa and Indica genotypes, prized cultivars from Thailand and Afghanistan represent opposite ends of the psychoactive cannabis spectrum. Attaining the perfect balance between pure Afghani Indica and pure Thai Sativa was a goal that took a very long time to achieve, even by the extra-patient standards of cannabis breeders. The unpredictable nature of the first experimental Thai-Afghani crossings listed in early seed catalogues made them difficult to work with. Identifying the ideal combination of parent-plants required generations of testing, selection and examination of thousands of seed offspring. It took until 1995 to isolate the two very special individuals which would consistently produce the fusion of Indica and Sativa qualities we had in mind.
The result is Sensi Seeds’ gorgeous Fruity Juice strain – a Thai-Afghani f1 hybrid of impeccable breeding which strongly expresses both its Indica and Sativa heritage. The mere sight of these tall, elegant ladies in bloom, bending slightly under their payloads of long, candied buds confirms that the time and effort devoted to this strain was very well spent. Fruity Juice is a large-leafed, thick-stemmed, powerhouse of a plant that’s bursting with fragrance, power and hybrid vigour. She can be a first-class producer under lights, even at the smaller sizes favoured by indoor growers. If grown in a sunny greenhouse or outdoors in locations below 42°N and allowed to reach her full height of 2-3m, Fruity Juice can produce truly staggering harvests of running, super-dense flower clusters brimming with flavour and potency. Aside from the obvious flavour-comparison, the best description of Fruity Juice’s exquisite bouquet we’ve heard is “tropical charas”.

Guerilla's Gusto

This big, beautiful strain was developed and tested in northern Spain over several years. A handful of seeds from the best season made the journey from Spain to Holland, brought to Sensi as a ‘thank you’ from one of our thoughtful customers. Guerrilla’s Gusto started out as an unusual combination of radically different Indian strains from the north and south ends of the subcontinent. North Indian cannabis is classic Indica, while the less famous strains from the south are distinctly tropical with strong Sativa qualities.
To add gusto this hybrid and to give its offspring a chance to flourish in colder climates, it was paired with several Sensi parent plants well known for their ability to pass on toughness and vigour. Naturally, Skunk was an obvious choice, but there are some other very interesting (and possibly surprising) elements in the final version of the Guerrilla's Gusto seed strain, which combine to give her more power than her low price might suggest. Sensi’s final, acclimatised version of the Hindi-hybrid turned out to be even bigger, earlier and more resistant than we expected, which is how she came to be recommended as a variety for guerrilla growers.
In spring, after seedlings have become established plants, Guerrilla's Gusto may be sown outdoors a sunny spot and then simply left alone. Provided plants have good soil and access to a reliable water source, they will need little or no care for the rest of the growing season. Naturally, growers should not expect these guerrillas to conceal themselves in the undergrowth. This is a large, husky variety which can reach an impressive height, especially when left to grow unhindered for the whole outdoor season.

Hash Plant

SEN-hashplant
Sleva 10%
This precious Afghani is descended from one of the finest hash-making cultivars ever brought from the Hindu Kush to the west. Cannabis strains known generally as hash plants are found throughout the countries that border these mountains, but very few have the pedigree of this Hash Plant - a living definition of the stocky, chunky, beautifully sticky Afghanica genotype. The direct ancestor of Hash Plant was developed in the Northwest USA and came to Holland as a few carefully-transported female cuttings. Upon arrival, the tiny, fragile Hash Plant clones were given a safe home in the Sensi Seed Bank breeding labs, where this outstanding cultivar quickly proved her worth, becoming an important building-block in several other Sensi hybrids.
Over the years, many experimental crosses were made in search of a pollen-father that could match up to the HP female and produce seeds worthy of the Hash Plant name. An equal partnership was eventually found in a male from Afghanica’s other royal family - the Northern Lights line. A 50/50 HP x NL#1 father was back-crossed to the original HP mother, which gave us the 75% HP-25% NL hybrid. Of all our breeding experiments, this crossing produced the strongest specimens by far — with even experienced Dutch smokers having trouble finishing a single joint. Thus the Hash Plant seed strain was born.
Hash Plant stays compact during her extra-short flowering time. Her tight, resin-drenched flower clusters develop a brittle surface when dried and give off a deep, rich Afghani aroma that’s undercut with a hint of hashish. When smoked, her dominant flavour is the spicy-sharp bite of smouldering resin glands, a sensation which quickly becomes indistinguishable from her effect. The instant vaporization of those layers of sparkling trichomes accelerates Hash Plant’s rapid, blissful and breathtakingly powerful body-stone

Hindu Kush

This pure Indica seed-strain comes directly from the massive mountain range for which it is named. This cultivar has been selected for quality and stability over countless generations, always breeding within its own gene pool. Hindu Kush produces very consistent seedlings and is an excellent variety for uniform indoor crops grown straight from seed. Plants are dark green, squat and powerful with classic, broad-bladed Indica leaves. In warmer climates, below about 42°N, Hindu Kush can flourish outdoors.
Flowering is strong and reliable, producing fast harvests of thick Afghani buds even in the hands of a novice grower. Hindu Kush has a subtle scent of sandalwood tinged with the sweet aroma of fresh charas. Potency is remarkably high for a non-hybrid strain, with the mellow, positive body vibration possessed by the famous high-altitude Indicas. Hindu Kush also imparts a calm, contemplative mental state, instead of the brain-numbing stone of later Indica, Afghanica and Skunk hybrids.

Indoor Mix (25 seeds)

Variety is the spice of life, and that's just one reason this mix of outstanding Indica varieties is one of Sensi’s most popular selections. Unbeatable value is another good reason - Indoor Mix offers growers an assortment of the highest quality cannabis seeds at the lowest possible price. The 25 seeds in each pack are a random mix taken from the 20 mostly-Indica varieties on Sensi's Indoor and Greenhouse lists. Expect plenty of high-powered Skunks and Afghanis, and don't be surprised if you find a few of Sensi's award-winning super-Indicas in the mix! The Indica strains included in Indoor Mix can be grown and flowered together with no difficulty, as all will gain height and progress through flowering at a similar rate
Note: Sativa-heavy strains are always in high demand and the open bud formation of their tropical parent-plants usually yields smaller numbers of seeds than Indica and Skunk strains. Every Sativa hybrid in Sensi Seeds’ Indoor collection has been awarded one or more First Prizes in cannabis competitions, so it’s rare that there are any ‘spare’ Sativa seeds to add to the Indoor Mix - however, such things are possible! Some lucky growers may find a plant or two from our superb Jamaican or Thai lines, or even from the Jack and Haze family trees.
Bonus Sativa ladies should be easy to spot in vegetation and will stand out sharply in flowering. If extra effort is needed to accommodate or propagate them, it will be small in comparison to the extra harvest of heavenly tropical flowers. Their uplifting cerebral Sativa high makes a perfect counterpoint to the smooth, sweet, potent body-stone of the Indica majority.

Jack Flash

SEN-jackflash
Sleva 10%
How do you improve the best cannabis in the world? That was the big question when working on a new strain from the illustrious Jack Herer line. Since we’ve always had a particular love for Sativas, one thing Sensi breeders really wanted to change was the myth that delicious, cerebral, tropical strains were too difficult or low-yielding for the average indoor grower. Actions speak louder than words, so creating a Jack hybrid with all the growing advantages of a Skunk seemed the best way to prove our point.
Jack Herer’s sublime gene-pool has been refined, with desired traits reinforced largely through back-crossing. Over multiple generations, our favourite Herer mother was infused with a precise blend of Super Skunk and Haze, undergoing rigorous selection and testing at every stage. Jack Flash is the triumphant outcome of that program — inbred with the bulk and vigour of her Afghani-Skunk ancestors without sacrificing any of Herer’s sumptuous Haze high. In isolating this particular balance of traits, the four common phenotypes of Jack Herer are reduced to two recurring forms in Jack Flash, representing the contrasting sides of her heritage. The Indica form is compact enough for SOG, with rapid and highly distinctive bud development. Calyxes swell to outrageous sizes, piling atop each other to form resin-saturated ropes which build into multi-point crowns on terminal buds.
The Sativa-dominant Jack Flash is astounding in every way. Growers with space for medium-to-large plants should select this phenotype as a mother,- her flavour, yield and mind-body potency are virtually unparalleled. Significant height gain in flowering, paired with the ability to completely fill out with solid, running, Skunk-Haze bud means that best results are seen when Jack Flash’s Sativa form is allowed to finish at 1m or taller.

Jack Herer bears the distinction of being distributed under prescription by Dutch pharmacies as a recognised variety of medicinal-grade cannabis. The sublime blend of tropical Sativa high and monstrous Indica resin production captured in Jack Herer must be seen and sampled to be believed. At their peak, buds are so thickly smothered with clear trichomes that they appear sugar-frosted or sparkling with dew-drops. This crystal-coating extends to spear-leaves, fan leaves and even to Jack’s stems and stalks. Plants from seed show favourable variation, due to Jack Herer’s complex background and delicate balance right at the cusp of Sativa and Indica. Enhanced features from both sides of the family are strongly evident and are expressed in different combinations, allowing growers to select mother plants tailored to their circumstances and tastes. Three of Jack’s four main phenotypes are heavily Sativa-influenced while the fourth has a growth pattern leaning towards Indica - fast-flowering and relatively compact with a dense, expansive, rounded bud structure that’s suited to cash-cropping. Jack’s Sativa phenotypes can also produce a good per-metre or per-plant yield when cultivated skilfully, though it is rare for these crops to be sold commercially. The trait common to all Jack Herer phenotypes is a dazzling double-edged potency - a stratospheric cerebral high underpinned by a breathtaking body-buzz with seismic power. Smokers should be prepared to feel the earth shake beneath their feet - which can be a very pleasant feeling when your head is firmly in the clouds.

Jamaican Pearl

A real innovation in cannabis breeding – Caribbean ganja adapted for the European climate! Jamaican Pearl is a sweetly potent outdoor Sativa whose presence will bring a taste of the South Seas to any garden and can even make the northern latitudes seem a touch more tropical. Jamaica is home to Sativas of astounding quality and potency, selectively bred for countless generations, so it seems strange that Caribbean genotypes are relatively rare in modern breeding. The enthusiasm which greeted Marley's Collie showed Sensi Seeds that growers everywhere are keen to sample the delights of genuine sinse. The years of breeding work behind our Collie strain had produced some very interesting possibilities involving Jamaican gene-stock, the most promising of which was the project to develop a hybrid with dominant Jamaican qualities that could succeed in the northern summer. Starting with the exquisite female parent of Marley’s Collie, the perfect pollen donor was found in our favourite Early Pearl male. Known for producing tough, fast-flowering offspring, this sweet Sativa was also less likely to dilute the Jamaican’s breezy cerebral high or interfere with her tropical flavours. As with Marley's Collie, the new f1 crossing impressed Sensi’s breeders straight away. Test-grows produced consistent, powerful plants with a rapid mostly-Sativa growth pattern and the desired combination of weight, flavour and potency. Jamaican Pearl was added the Sensi Seed Bank collection and has quickly become one of our most popular outdoor strains. As a plant that can flourish in the European summer, Jamaican Pearl can therefore perform brilliantly in almost any climate or situation. Indoor growers who may be put off by the higher prices of tropical strains should consider adding this variety to their room. When treated like any other indoor Sativa, Jamaican Pearl will give fantastic results under lights.
